Amersham

This comprehensive Amersham property transformation involved a complete redesign of the front and rear outdoor spaces, creating a cohesive landscape that enhanced both the practicality and visual appeal of the home.

The project began with the installation of a new driveway, replacing the previous surface with a durable, attractive finish that improves kerb appeal whilst providing reliable access and parking. The driveway design was carefully planned to complement the property's character, ensuring proper drainage and longevity through quality materials and expert installation.

To the rear of the property, we created a generous patio area that extends the living space outdoors. The patio provides an ideal setting for alfresco dining and family gatherings, with ample room for outdoor furniture and entertaining. The layout was designed to maximise usability whilst taking advantage of the garden's best features and sun exposure throughout the day.

The garden transformation included reshaping borders and improving the overall layout to create a more functional and attractive space. Thoughtful planting adds colour, texture and structure, whilst maintaining areas of open space for the family to enjoy. The planting scheme was selected to provide year-round interest with a mix of evergreen structure and seasonal highlights.

New fencing was installed around the property boundaries, providing privacy and security whilst defining the garden's edges. The fencing choice complements both the property style and the landscaping scheme, creating a finished, well-maintained appearance that ties the whole project together.

The completed work has transformed both the front and rear of the property, creating attractive, practical outdoor spaces that the homeowners can enjoy for many years to come.

Project Details
  • Coordinate front and rear schemes – Ensure driveway materials and styles complement the rear garden design for a cohesive look throughout the property.
  • Plan for practical drainage – Proper drainage solutions for driveways and patios are essential for longevity and to prevent water pooling or damage during wet weather.
  • Define spaces with boundaries – Quality fencing provides privacy and security whilst creating a backdrop for planting and helping the garden feel enclosed and established.
  • Design patios for purpose – Consider how the space will be used and ensure adequate room for furniture, movement and entertaining, not just the minimum coverage.
  • Create flow between areas – Use consistent materials or complementary styles to link the driveway, patio and garden, helping different zones feel connected rather than disjointed.

We were very happy with the hard landscaping around a garden building and re pointing of our patio. Terry was very professional and had good suggestions on improving the final look of the project. His team worked hard and were very reliable.
