Apprentices
Limestone Landscapes currently employ three Apprentices who are training towards NVQ level 2 in Amenity Horticulture. They also receive training in NPTC PA1-PA6 in pesticides and 1day appointed person first aid training.
Limestone Landscapes policy is to employ apprentices locally by advertising with in your local Connextions. We aim to employ a minimum of one apprentice for every major contract that we are successful in winning. This is subject to size and scope of contract.
We work closely with a land based training company with courses run by LANTRA who are training one of our own qualified staff as an A1 assessor. This will allow us to carry out our own assessments in house and therefore be more efficient.
